This is White Mountain. White Mountain stands on the east side of Owens Valley, facing the Sierra Nevada range to the west and Nevada to the East. It stands at 14,252 feet high making it the third highest mountain in California. It's clearly not white! The red/black colors come from ore and Mesozoic metavolcanic rock.
